OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Sophie is an experienced Occupational Therapist at Soulter Therapy, who completed a Masters of Occupational Therapy Studies at The University of Queensland. Sophie has also completed a Postgraduate degree in Sensory Integration, at Sheffield Hallum University, making her a qualified Sensory Integration Practitioner.

Sophie is dedicated to providing high-quality occupational therapy support to individuals of all ages, and is passionate about assisting individuals to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. She believes making connections and building rapport is essential when providing therapy, and her friendly nature makes this process rather easy.

Sophie is experienced in providing support to NDIS participants, as well as private paying clients. She has provided support to individuals and their families with neurological conditions, neurodiverse individuals, people with physical impairments, sensory processing challenges and individuals with psycho-social conditions.

Sophie focuses on providing an individualised approach for each of her clients. She understands that no two people are the same and therefore her therapy approach is unique each and every time.  Sophie is passionate about learning and providing education to both her clients and their families. She also offers professional development workshops to childcare centres, schools and parents to assist with understanding, and therefore supporting children of all abilities.

She believes a collaborative approach is essential in providing support, and she works alongside families, allied health practitioners, and schools to ensure a seamless team approach.

How we work

Our process can vary depending on why you're seeking OT support. Generally speaking we like to get to know you, complete appropriate assessments, set goals, and either start the therapy process or make a start on reports.

We are always more than happy to answer questions, so please contact us with any questions.
